Intentional Ink is a non profit record label that exists to support independent artists of the faith to reach their goals as an artist. Being signed to the label does not mean that all songs must be about Jesus or faith. The artist does however need to understand that their faith must have a direct reflection of their music. Songs can not be counter christianity. The use endorsement of profanity and sexual imagery (outside of marriage),
is prohibited. The glorification of ideals unlike Christ are prohibited. This includes glorification of drug use, gun violence, and infidelity. All songs don't have to be positive and uplifting. Content can be about love, overcoming addiction, abuse, tragedy to triumph, emotional release and things along those lines as long as they are displayed in good taste. We do want people to experience hope at the end of the day, we do understand that sometimes hope can be messy.
